What is TMS?
"TMS" stands for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, which is a non-invasive procedure used to treat depression and other mental health disorders. During TMS therapy, magnetic fields are used to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression.
NeuroStar uses transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to target key areas of the brain that are underactive in people with depression.
