Fadilah “Lala” Hawthorne
Patient Care Coordinator
Hi! I’m Fadilah Hawthorne, but you may hear me called Lala, my longtime nickname. My husband and I moved to the island in September 2024, thanks to his service in the Navy, and we’ve loved making this beautiful community our home. We also recently adopted two adorable (and very spoiled!) kittens from The Noah Center who have quickly become the heart of our home.
I was born in California and raised here in Washington, and I’ve worked in the healthcare field for over six years, primarily in administrative support and patient services. I’m also trained in telemetry reading. I have a deep passion for creating a positive, supportive experience for every patient, I truly believe that compassionate care begins the moment you walk through the door.
I was drawn to Breathing Space because of its commitment to whole-person care and the belief that healing happens in a space that honors both mental and emotional well-being. Not to mention a life changing non-invasive and non medication based approach to treat a myriad of mental health conditions. It’s an honor to be part of a team that truly puts patients first.
Outside of work, I love music, getting lost in a good book, and soaking up the sunshine—summer is definitely my favorite season.
I look forward to supporting you during your time at Breathing Space and helping make your experience here as smooth and welcoming as possible!
